Access 2010 Basic Skills

This course covers the basic functions and features of Access 2010. After an introduction to database concepts and the Access environment and Help systems, students will learn how to design and create databases. Then they will work with tables, fields, and records; sort and filter data; and set field properties and data entry rules. Students will then learn to create queries, forms, and reports.

This course is designed for students who wish to establish a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Access 2013, including the skills necessary to create a new database, construct data tables, design forms and reports, and create queries.

In this course, students will learn how to use Access 2010 to manage data, including creating a new database; constructing tables; designing forms and reports; and creating queries to join, filter, and sort data.
