Access 2010 Advanced Skills

Students will learn how to query with SQL; create crosstab, parameter, and action queries; create macros; import, export, and link database objects; interact with XML documents; create hyperlink fields; optimize, split, and back up databases; password-protect and encrypt databases; and set Access options and properties.

 

Students taking this course are database administrators or prospective database administrators who have experience working with Access 2010 and need to learn advanced skills. 

In this course, students learn advanced Access features such as database management, advanced form design, packaging a database, encrypting a database, preparing a database for multi-user access and more.

Unit 4: Advanced macros

  • Topic C: Creating AutoKeys and AutoExec macros

Unit 5: Importing, exporting, and linking objects
